Afternoon all,

We kicked off the weekend with a decent BTTS double winner last night at over 2.5/1. The Belgium game came in before half time, whilst we had to wait a little longer for the Brighton one to come in. Nice to get both results in to cover some of the outlay for what is an extremely hard Saturday.

An EFL Treble on offer for this afternoon. Its not worth the outlay for splitting it up into single, double and treble, as we would need all three to win to make decent profit anyway. An evening single, and a Bundesliga double to also tackle on what is another pretty tough Saturday.

PLEASE NOTE THE FIRST GAME KICKS OFF AT 14:30

BEST OF LUCK

CHELTENHAM V CHARLTON
ENGLISH LEAGUE ONE
KICK OFF: 15:00
SELECTION: BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @ 4/5

Cheltenham have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven league games, whilst overall this season, have kept just three shut outs from twenty five games. At home, they are without a clean sheet in seven games, and have conceded fourteen times in this period, so on their defensive form both overall and recently, Charlton must fancy their chances of finding the net this afternoon.

Charlton themselves are not in the best shape at the back, and have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last three games, whilst away from home, have kept just two clean sheets from their twelve games played. They have scored twelve times in these twelve road games, and have failed to score in just two, which came on the bounce recently against a home team that are hard to score against in Shrewsbury, and their follow up away game against Plymouth. Eight of their twelve away games this season have seen a BTTS result, and with Cheltenham being the highest rated BTTS side in League One, with seventeen of their twenty five matches seeing goals at both ends, this game should be seeing the same outcome.

DONCASTER V WIGAN
ENGLISH LEAGUE ONE
KICK OFF: 15:00
SELECTION: WIGAN WIN & OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 6/5

Wigan are 1/2 to win this game, and really should be one of the bankers of the day in the win market. They have been exceptional away from home this season, winning eight of their ten away games, whilst losing just the one. They are the league’s best away side with twenty five points collected, and with eight wins from their last nine away games, are impossible to oppose this afternoon.

They have also been involved in high scoring games; twelve of their twenty on games overall have seen an O2.5 result, whilst away from home, seven of their ten matches have also seen more than two goals. They have been in excellent form in front of goal this season scoring forty goals from their twenty one games played, and twenty five of these have come away from home. They have scored at least twice in each of their last nine road games, and at least three in four of their last eight.

Doncaster are in poor form, and have picked up just four points from their last eight league games, and are coming into this game having lost six of their last seven. They have conceded eight goals in their last three League One games, and with Wigan in such strong form, they look set to struggle this afternoon.

BRISTOL ROVERS V HARTLEPOOL
ENGLISH LEAGUE TWO
KICK OFF: 15:00
SELECTION: OVER 2.5 GOALS @ 21/20

Bristol Rovers have failed to keep a clean sheet from their last six matches, and have kept just the one from their last ten, and are coming into this game having conceded at least two goals in four of their last five league games. This has meant that in order to get anything from recent matches, they have had to be scoring well, which in turn has led to some high scoring games. Four of their last six league games have seen a BTTS and O2.5 outcome, including their last game at home against Rochdale, which finished 4-2. Indeed, seven of their last eight home games have also seen a BTTS and O2.5 outcome, including each of their last five, and with five of these also seeing an O3.5 outcome, their form alone suggests this goals line is overpriced at odds against.

Hartlepool have seen two 0-0 results from their last three league games, but both have been at home. Away from home, they have been much more open of late, and have seen an O3.5 outcome in four of their last five matches, with two seeing more than four goals. They have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their last seven road games, and have conceded at least two in six of these seven matches. They have also scored six away goals in their last five, and with them conceding thirteen goals in their last four, both sides have strong enough form here to suggest this should be an open game.

SPORTING BRAGA V MARITIMO
PORTUGAL PRIMEIRA LIGA
KICK OFF: 18:00

SELECTION
SPORTING BRAGA WIN AND BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE @ 9/4: 1PT

Braga returned to action after the Christmas break with an entertaining 2-2 draw at home against Famalicao last weekend, and this game should be set for another entertaining affair.

They have been in good form at home this season, and have lost just once from their nine home games, which came in their season opener against Sporting Lisbon. They have won five of their last seven, including four of their last five, and are one of the stronger sides in this league, particularly at home, where they are the third best home side in the league, with eighteen points returned from these nine home matches.

Maritimo got back to action last weekend with a good 2-1 away win against seventh placed Portimonense, which was their third win in four matches. They have been in good form over their last six games, losing just once and winning four times, but are a side that perform much better at home than away. They have returned twenty points this season, with twelve of these coming at home. Away from home, they have won just two matches, including their last game against Portimonense, courtesy of an injury time winner. They have lost five times in their last eight road games, and have consistently performed poorly away from home against the better sides in the league. Of their last twenty away games, they have lost sixteen times against Top Six opposition, and with this in mind, have to be struggling this evening.

Braga have been solid in defence at home this season, and have kept four clean sheets, whilst conceding eight times in the five games they have let goals in. However, Maritimo have been in good scoring form, and have scored in each of their last nine league games, whilst away from home, have scored in each of their last five matches, whilst only failing to score on the road in just two games this season.

They have seen a BTTS result in seven of their nine away games this season, which sees them as the highest rated BTTS away side in the Primeira Liga. They have also seen goals at both ends in eleven of their seventeen games overall. With them in strong scoring form, they look good value here to find the net, with the BTTS line priced up at evens, and with their poor record on the road to Top Six sides, they should also be opposed in the win market.

BOTH TEAMS TO SCORE & OVER 2.5 GOALS DOUBLE
ODDS: 2/1
STAKE: 1.5PTS

COLOGNE V BAYERN MUNICH
GERMANY BUNDESLIGA I
KICK OFF: 14:30
ODDS: 4/6

Cologne have been in excellent scoring form of late, scoring seven times in their last three matches, including three in their last game away to Hertha Berlin. At home, they have failed to score in just one game this season, and have scored eighteen times in the eight matches they have found the net in. Seven of their nine home matches have seen a BTTS result, and with their strong scoring form, have to be backed to find the net this afternoon, and with them being the second highest rated BTTS side in the Bundesliga, with fourteen of their eighteen matches seeing goals at both ends, they should certainly be playing their part in an entertaining game here.

Munich have seen a BTTS result in seven of their eight away games this season, and have kept just the one clean sheet on their travels, conceding at around 1.50GPG, and have conceded twice in three of their last four. They have seen a BTTS and O2.5 result in eleven of their eighteen games overall this season, and in six of their eight away matches.

With ten of Cologne’s last eleven home games seeing more than two goals against Top Six sides, this game should be a high scoring one, and with both sides attacking prowess, along with poor defensive records, they should also be coming at both ends.

BORUSSIA MUNCHENGLADBACH V BAYER LEVERKUSEN
GERMANY BUNDESLIGA I
KICK OFF: 17:30
ODDS: 4/5

Nine of Gladbach’s last twelve home games have seen an O2.5 result, whilst six of their last seven league games overall have also seen more than two goals. They are coming into this game without a clean sheet in six league games, and have kept just two clean sheets all season from eighteen games played. At home, they have failed to score in just one of their eight matches, and have scored fourteen times in the seven they have scored in.

Leverkusen’s last six matches have seen a BTTS and O2.5 outcome, with five of these seeing an O3.5 result, including their game last weekend against Union Berlin. Away from home, they have seen a BTTS result in eight of their nine matches, which sees them as the joint highest rated BTTS away side in the Bundesliga. They have also seen a BTTS result in thirteen of their eighteen matches overall, so goals at both ends has to look strong play here.

Eleven of Leverkusen’s eighteen games this season have seen this outcome land, including six of their nine away games. Given both sides form at both ends of the pitch, this should be another.
